In the evening of September 6, 2019, IFT held in its gardens a concert that was performed by the pianist Mehdi Trabelsi, a professor at the Higher Institute of Music Tunis who graduated from the Brussels Conservatory, and the violinist Ghofrane Miledi, young prodigy and goddaughter of the Habib Bourguiba Foundation since 2016. During this concerto, the two artists performed classical pieces by Bach, Telleman, Bloch, Massenet and Von Gluck.

Ghofrane Miledi’s journey

Passionate about violin from an early age, Ghofrane has, at just 16, a remarkable career: first prize at the Vatelot Rampal contest in Paris in 2014, first solo position at the Scholar music festival with Zoubeir Turki College in 2016, member of the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra with maestro Hafedh Makni, the International Carthage Festival with Yasmine Azaiez in 2017 and Mohamed Ali Kamoun in 2018.

Thanks to the efforts of the Habib Bourguiba Foundation and the support of the Rambourg Foundation, the young violinist obtains a scholarship and joins in 2016 the Yehudi Menuhin School of Music in London, where she studies to this day.
